Un’applicazione - cento anni di storia

C’è modo e modo di ricordare un periodo di vita di un’associazione e i pareri in merito posso giustamente divergere. Così si esprimeva Emilio Censi - presidente del Touring Club Svizzero, Sezione Ticino - nel 1964, l’anno dei festeggiamenti del cinquantesimo di fondazione. A mezzo secolo di distanza le sue parole restano attuali: i modi con i quali un anniversario può essere affrontato sono molteplici - festeggiare, celebrare, commemorare … ignorare.

Indipendentemente dall’attitudine adottata, gli anniversari hanno una forza alla quale non si può sfuggire: impongono una pausa, una sospensione nello scorrere abituale della vita di una famiglia, di una comunità, di un’associazione. Un’interruzione del quotidiano e della naturale tensione al futuro, che apre uno spazio allo sguardo retrospettivo e all’interrogazione del passato.

Il Touring Club Svizzero, Sezione Ticino ha voluto assecondare questo stimolo apparentemente contraddittorio ai valori di mobilità che lo contraddistinguono. Tra le molte scelte possibili, la Sezione ha deciso di interrogare il proprio passato offrendo ai soci e alla collettività un accesso privilegiato al patrimonio documentario costituitosi in cento anni di intensa attività.

L’Archivio sezionale è stato inventariato, riordinato, catalogato. Tra le molte scatole, e gli innumerevoli incarti, sono stati selezionati e digitalizzati i documenti che 100 anni TCS-Ticino presenta attraverso sei percorsi d’archivio - identificarsi, decidere, socializzare, intervenire, formare, edificare - e una galleria multimediale. Documenti cartacei, fotografie, video, registrazioni sonore … sono questi i supporti che testimoniano il secolo di vita della Sezione, e che 100 anni TCS-Ticino permette di consultare in modi diversi: seguendo rigorosamente l’ordine cronologico e sequenziale degli eventi, oppure assecondando gli stimoli oscillanti e incostanti della curiosità. La chiave di accesso è una - molte invece le storie che si potranno comporre.

Among the many possible choices, the Chamber has decided to interrogate their past by offering to members and to the community privileged access to the documentary heritage formed over a hundred years of intense activity.

The Archive sectional has been inventoried, rearranged, cataloged. Among the many boxes, and countless wrappers, were selected and digitized documents that 100 years TCS has Ticino through six Archive - identify, decide, socialize, take action, train, build - and a multimedia gallery. Paper documents, photographs, videos, sound recordings ... these are the media that bear witness to the century of the Chamber, and that 100 years TCS-Ticino allows you to browse in different ways: by strictly following the chronological order and sequence of events, or favoring stimuli oscillating and erratic curiosity. The passkey is a - instead of the many stories that will be able to compose.
