This app simulates the height, velocity and energies throughout the motion of a bouncing ball constrained to move in 1D. Initial parameters such as the initial height and initial velocity must be given. Upwards is defined to be positive while downwards is defined to be negative. The maximum height that the ball reaches throughout the motion is also marked in the simulation.
Other parameters such as percentage of energy loss after each bounce can also be changed.
The graphs of height, velocity, kinetic energy, gravitational potential energy and total energy of the ball against time are also plotted along with the animation of the ball for reference and comparison.
