• Automatic timer switching: You can now turn this off if you want direct control of when the next timer starts. Switching to manual control stops the 20-20-20 cycle when one timer finishes and adds a button to your timer notification so you can start your next work/break timer when you're ready.

• Exercise recommendations toggle: turn this off if you are only interested in eye health break reminders.

helps you schedule breaks from your electronic devices to prevent eye strain and prolonged physical inactivity. Take short breaks to increase personal health and productivity with the 20 20 20 Rule! Whether you're working at a computer, playing on your phone, or watching TV, sprinkling screen usage with physical activity breaks can have profound effects on your long-term eye and body health.

The 20-20-20 Rule is a simple guideline to prevent Digital Eye Strain (Computer Vision Syndrome) when using your phone or computer:

Every 20 minutes [of looking at a screen], look at something at least 20 feet away for 20 seconds.

This rule isn't only for your eyes. If you get stuck staring at a screen for any length of time, the 20-20-20 Rule reminds you to stand up, stretch, or do another activity to keep your muscles from getting stiff so you don't fall into the unhealthy trap of sitting for too long.

To promote maximum healthiness, 20 twenty 20 will suggest a moderate intensity exercise for every break! Tiny adjustments to your lifestyle can help you better enjoy your time both in front of or away from the computer screen. Sometimes, all it takes is a short activity reminder to help you be your best self. 20 twenty 20 will also let you know when your break time is over so you can get back to enjoying your electronic devices.
