People with disabilities deserve to live fulfilling, independent, enriched lives, but webbed through every discussion of community living is the enormous and urgent challenge of how to ensure policy, resources, and innovation are geared towards these ends.

ANCOR will not stand by as disability service providers are hit with the aftermath of Supreme Court decisions, unfunded federal mandates, and significant budget cuts that impact their important work. Therefore ANCOR is launching its 2015 Leadership Summit to empower disability service providers with ways to impact the many threads of providing community options. The "There’s No Place Like Home" Leadership Summit will occur from September 29­30 in Washington, DC and plans to feature top officials from federal agencies, the Hill, the disability community and the White House to delve into what will and must be done to address the urgent need for greater access to community supports.
