«Other Russians» is the collection of works by Russian music artists who sing in English. These are contemporary authors who find their inspiration in the world musical culture and consider themselves to be part of the global world. It has already become usual for the 3plet compilations to combine the tracks according to the given topic of the album, regardless the style of the individual compositions. Hence the stylistic range of this album: from dream pop, indie and pop rock to downtwmpo, hip-hop, dance and world music. Despite the diverse musical language, all the tracks are unified by the artists' original pursuit of beauty and harmony. Our aim was to unveil the creative genius of the artists, whose works could be played on the radio stations across the globe, but do not have wide rotation in their home country. We wanted to show the contemporary Russian music scene from a different perspective, which is often not visible to the general public. In the process of selecting tracks we made many musical discoveries, and so we now have a lot of material to continue with this series and the new releases of more selected artists regardless how fashionable or popular they are in today's media environment – only music, only beauty.
