About 6D Companion Android App

The VI Agents 6D Companion application can be used by enterprise clients, organizations, and consumers to enhance their 6D Companion. The application provides nine different icons on the home page. Each of the nine icons can be configured with specific messages and associated phone numbers. The center icon is an SOS icon that enables rapid contact with 911 emergency services from wherever the user is located. The other icons provide for various notification and assistance messages to be sent to the cloud application that will deliver the messages to the configured contacts for each icon button. Each icon button has associated phone numbers that may also be automatically dialed when pressed in order to contact a security office, dispatch office, medical assistance center, family member, and more. Users must be registered users of VI Agents in order to have an approved loginID and Password. In addition to the mobile application, the complementary cloud application solution provides users with the means to configure the messages sent and the phone numbers to be dialed. In addition, users may configure multiple parties to be notified when certain icons are pressed. The cloud application provides the means to locate the user of the mobile phone using GPS coordinates and to track their movements once emergency or notification services are activated by pressing the icon button on the mobile application. For emergency messages that need to be sent from the cloud application to one or more mobile users that are part of an organization, company, or family, an Emergency Alert System is provided so that the mobile user can be notified of any emergency situation. When combined with other indoor locationing technologies, the 6D Companion solution provide accurate locationing of each user.
