What are attributes of happiness? For some, it's good health, better relationships, near perfect work life balance, family etc. For others, it's competitiveness, excitements, wisdom, contentment, cherishable memories etc. But many people struggle to achieve these. People please with instant and easier rewards. They are excited but afraid of unknown. This contradiction of excitement and afraidness leads to misery in life.

Research shows, hunter gatherers were way too happy and healthy than us. What makes them happy than all of us? It's 'unkown'. Unknowing how far he or she will be living; a week or month. The uncertainty of prey and next meal. Life of hunter gatherers was full of adventures. This made them to put everything in present moment. They would hunt, eat, mate, dance, laugh and live by less worrying about future. I am not advising to make axe out of stone and bewild into Jungle. The point is getting out of comfort zone and living in present. Feel the taste of water everyday same as you feel it after exhausted on fort in crazy heat.
Each and every one of us knows and has experienced real happiness. In our childhood: love of mother, terrorism of math teacher, gang of friends, crush in classroom, wilderness in river, power of elephant in shoulders. Today we have become 'busy' to experience these feelings. Our mind has started running preprogrammed(by our beliefs) perpetual routine for a day, month and year. And, this stops at a last breaths of regret.
