This app is designed to assist you with your experience at the 7th International Carers Conference 4 – 6 October 2017. The app is for all conference delegates and includes a daily program, keynote speaker biographies, an at-a-glance concurrent session program and full concurrent session abstracts. You can build your own timetable by scheduling the sessions you want to attend. The app will notify you of the next session, including location. Conference staff will also be able to notify you of special events occurring throughout the three days, such as the book launch, breakfast events and general announcements.
The app includes a social wall similar to social media sites where you can ‘friend’ other delegates as well as keynote speakers, concurrent speakers and exhibition delegates. You can set up meetings with other users and connect to your social media channels through the app. Be sure to use the conference hashtag on all your social media messaging to help link the messaging buzz created around the conference: #IntCarerConference The app includes a map of the Adelaide Convention Centre and symposium times and location. Carers Australia encourages all delegates to use the app.
