El objetivo principal del Programa para Afrodescendientes e Indígenas de la Agencia de los Estados Unidos para el Desarrollo Internacional (USAID) es garantizar las oportunidades de inclusión social, económica y política para los afrocolombianos e indígenas mediante el fortalecimiento de la capacidad institucional del Estado, el empoderamiento de las organizaciones étnicas, un mayor acceso a oportunidades económicas y el incremento de mensajes positivos sobre asuntos étnicos.
Sus cuatro resultados están diseñados para incidir directamente en las principales barreras para la inclusión. Esto permite focalizar esfuerzos estratégicos, ampliando el alcance del Programa.The main objective of the Program for Indigenous People of African Descent and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is to ensure opportunities for social, economic and political inclusion for Afro-Colombians and indigenous people by strengthening the institutional capacity of the State, empowerment of ethnic organizations, greater access to economic opportunities and increasing positive messages about ethnic affairs.
Four results are designed to directly affect the main barriers to inclusion. This allows focusing strategic efforts, expanding the scope of the program.
