ADAA is an international nonprofit organization dedicated to the prevention, treatment, and cure of anxiety, depressive, obsessive-compulsive, and trauma-related disorders through education, practice, and research. We focus on improving quality of life for children and adults affected by these. We strive to improve patient outcomes by promoting scientific innovation and encouraging translation and implementation of research into practice. We engage a diverse network of basic and clinical anxiety and depression researchers, and we encourage the implementation of new treatments to clinicians. These commitments drive our promise to one day prevent and cure these disorders. ADAA provides a variety of educational resources to many patients and families and helps them find treatment and support.
