About Adolscents Friend Android App

This app is developed to create a 24x7 handy reference materials on adolescents health and other issues for creating awareness and reach out the target population i.e. adolescents. The app is designed to simplify the awareness communication on adolescent heath materials and made interesting for the adolescent youths.


The Adolescent Empowerment Model is implemented in 40 urban slums of Raipur city with the support of World Vision India, Raipur ADP. Samarthan Centre for Development Support is playing the role of the implementing partner and working with the communities, youth, children and various stakeholders in Raipur urban slums through its innovative approach. The objective of this model to consult, support, capacitate the community & adolescents in the targeted slums to understand the Social, Economic, Health and Capacity building needs and status to identify possible community-based young change agents, solutions and harness leadership & support mechanisms under the framework of the adolescent empowerment model.
