The parallel English / Latin text of Virgil's Æneid, books I-XII is presented. Each Latin word is linked to Latin-English dictionary definition allowing the reader to check the definition of any unfamiliar words.
The Aeneid is an epic poem, written by Virgil about 25 BC. It tells the story of Aeneas, a Trojan, who after travelling to Italy, became the ancestor of the Romans. It comprises about 10,000 lines in dactylic hexameter. The first six books tell the story of Aeneas's journey from Troy to Italy. The second half is about the Trojans' war against the Latins.
