About OASIS Traceability Edition Android App

The OASIS Traceability Edition is a limited version of the full Agriculture Product History mobile app for the general public. The Traceability Edition retrieves the farm site origin of an agriculture product. Buyers of fresh produce and processed food can find the farm and the location where the crop was grown and managed. This mobile app effectively traces agriculture products in accordance with food traceability standards, ISO 22005 specifically.

The (full version) Agriculture Product History mobile app allows farmers and their suppliers, vendors, and partners to view the complete production history of an agriculture product from land preparation to harvest and post harvest processing to product shipment.

Instruction

All the user needs is a product label or a single input identifier. Enter a partial or full farm plot identifier and click FIND. If the user does not know the identifier, the user can scan the product label. Click FIND with the input field blank to access the label scanner.

See the example image depicting the label scanner to see how to scan the product label. Move your screen to capture the QR code within the viewing area. Wait 1 or 2 seconds for the mobile app to capture the code. If the QR code is not valid, the mobile app will return a notification that nothing was found. Only valid codes provided by farms will return results.
