About AireNL Android App
The AireNL app displays the latest hourly air quality and meteorological data recorded within the Monterrey metropolitan area, as well as the maximum expected levels of particulate matter (PM10) and ozone (O3) for the next 24 hours. The displayed air pollution levels correspond to the monitoring site closest to the user, however, data of other monitoring sites which form part of the Integral Environmental Monitoring System (SIMA) of the Nuevo Leon State can also be accessed.
The Air Quality Index (IMECA) and band displayed correspond to the air pollutant with the highest current concentration at the selected monitoring site. Additionally, AireNL displays recommended actions and health advice during events of high forecasted pollution levels, highlighting the risk of exposure to high levels of air pollutants.
