During ultrasound check on the fetus, it can be difficult sometimes to make sure that measurements fall inside average values for each development phase. This can be stressful for pregnant women.
Akachan is an application for future parents (and parents as well) enabling them to follow the embryo and fetus development through their visits to the obstetrician. It allows the creation of a baby profile containing all the measurements taken during ultrasound check. Those measurements can be visualised on graphs and compared with a world database for world average, average per country, per mother's age, per sex, etc... This world database also provides all sorts of interesting statistics on births all over the world.
The WDB (or World DataBase) contains of course the standard phases of fetus development but the main part is built with all the real ultrasound measurements sent by Akachan's users. The calculated average values are therefore very realistic and not academic.
It also predicts the birth date along with astrological information, several profiles can be created for children already born or to be born.
Akachan also comes with a small application which gives the parents the illusion to see the baby through the mother's womb. It displays a 3D model of the fetus over the camera. This application is just for fun and depends on your device's performances.
Akachan is your essential pregnancy companion.
