Inside you will find helpful information, resources, and tools at your fingertips and a direct line for immediate support. Other features include: - Direct line to Alachua County hotline, staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. - Helpful education on the warning signs. - Resources for you if you feel overwhelmed or alone, or what to do if a friend or a loved one. - Direct links for various demographics, including: The Trevor Project, Trans Lifeline, NAMI, American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, Gainesville Peer Respite, Gainesville Opportunity Center - Opportunities for volunteer training. - Mental health events in the community This Suicide Intervention and Phone Crisis app is an immediate resource for assistance and information. Our 24-hour telephone crisis intervention and counseling service counselors are always available to listen to problems and participate in their solution.
