About Altimeter Altimaster Plus Android App

Altimaster Plus allows the users to read and record pressure and barometric altitude data obtained by the barometric sensor of their device. It can be used for hiking, sailing, flying or any other activities that might need pressure readings, such as weather analysis.

With Altimaster Plus, you will be able to track your hikes, your bike rides, your running sessions or whatever you desire. It records highest and lowest points, as well as total ascent (cumulative elevation gain), total descent (cumulative elevation loss) and net ascent.

Altimaster Plus' extra low battery consumption allows it to be active eternally (it does not use GPS nor Internet services).

This application includes the following key features:
- Real time barometer.
- Real time altimeter (ISA standard).
- Storage of recorded data (and storage management).
- Exporting system to CSV charts.
- Altitude calibration (ISA standard).
- Background measurements notification dialog.
- Elevation gain calculation.

IMPORTANT: Ambient temperature sensor is needed for calibration purposes. If your device does not have this sensor, calibration will not be accessible.
