The sound sources status is AVAILABLE means that AMonitor at the time of checking the microphone got access to it, i.e. the microphone was free (available).

The sound sources status UNAVAILABLE - indicates that AMonitor at the time of checking the microphone was not able to access it(perhaps at this point, worked as a third-party application, such as a recorder, which used a microphone to record or broadcast the incoming sounds)

The sound sources status is UNKNOWN - in all other cases.

The default control is selected as the sound source to the microphone (MIC).

The result of the last check of the sound source can be determined by the notification icon.
