・Now Andro-tripod has its own primitive (but simple to use) picture browser, with which you can browse all the pics you are going to take with Andro-tripod from now on.
※NOTICE: you can't browse old pics taken with older versions of Andro-tripod.
・"Retry" button is now introduced and you can take as many pics as you want once you set a desired framing.
Camera app for the ease of asking other people to take your picture, working as a fixed point camera. This app should be useful especially for a lone traveler.
■Features & functions
- image matching
- fixed point camera
- face detection
- orientation detection using gyroscope
- auto-shutter
■Objective
Haven't you ever been disappointed after asking other people to take your picture with a great scenery behind you? Before you ask for the picture, you must have had a perfect picture in your mind: "I should be there in the picture...", "The top half of the picture should be blue sky...", etc. However, everyone has their own taste of camera framing and the result picture often does not live up to your expectation.
Andro-tripod is there to help you to tell others how you want the picture framed with precise detail.
■Usage
Step 1: Launch the app and take a photo by clicking the camera icon on the top-right corner with your desired framing. Of course, you are not in the picture yet, but this will tell the app how the scenery should be framed. This photo is referred to as the reference picture.
Step 2: After taking the reference picture, a blue smiley face will appear on the screen and you will be asked to set your position in the picture by dragging the face to anywhere in the reference picture. When you finished setting your position, click the "Finish Positioning" button on the right (the button text blinks during this process).
Step 3: Now you will see the app displays normal camera preview on the screen again. You are ready to hand your smartphone to others to ask for your picture. The app tries to match the reference picture and the current camera preview on the screen, and a red frame will be superposed on the preview window showing the corners of the reference picture. You only need to ask the shooter to hold the smartphone to match the red frame, then click the camera icon for shutter. The result picture will be saved to your SD card storage of your smartphone.
