مدیریت محصولات سازمان فرهنگی هنری شهرداری تهران با هدف ترویج فرهنگ کتابخوانی، اقدام به تولید نرم افزار ماه کتاب ویژه استفاده بر روی تلفن های همراه نموده است که می تواند قدمی کوچک در خصوص تبیین اهمیت کتاب و کتابخوانی و بسط و گسترش فرهنگ آن باشد.
در این نرم افزار هر ماه یک کتاب معرفی میشود و کاربران ضمن آشنایی با نویسنده و اطلاع از دیدگاه دیگران در مورد آن، می توانند در مسابقه کتابخوانی نیز شرکت کنند و از جوایز در نظر گرفته شده بهره مند شوند.
همچنین از رویداد های فرهنگی که با موضوع آن کتاب برگزار می شود مطلع شوند.
البته در این نرم افزار برای انتخاب کتاب ماه نیز، از مشارکت کاربران استفاده می شود و آنها می توانند پیشنهاد کتاب دهند و به پیشنهاد های تایید شده رای دهند تا کتاب ماه بعد را انتخاب نمایند .Tehran Municipality Art and Cultural Organization of Product Management aims to promote the culture of reading, to produce software for use on mobile phones and Moon book that can be a small step in explaining the importance of books and reading, and is expanding its culture.
