The exhibition in the Styrian Provincial Archives addresses the "information" which shaped everyday life during the first world war, and which was designed to influence the population, with the help of authentic source material. This propaganda is contrasted with the grim reality, the brutality of unfolding events on the fore front and the restrictions of daily life, destitution and hardship on the home front and the resultant change in propaganda methods from the image of defensive warfare to a protraial of victimization.
The exhibit is located in Graz, Karmeliterplatz 3, Landesarchiv Steiermark.
