شمس المعارف الكبرى أو شمس المعارف ولطائف العوارف هي مخطوطة لأعمال سحرية شركية (بمفوهم الإسلام) من تأليف أحمد علي البوني المتوفي سنة 622 هجري. وقد تم طباعتها حديثا مع الحذف والتحريف[بحاجة لمصدر] في العديد من مواضيعها ولكن ما يزال الكتاب يتناول العديد من امور السحر الغير واضحه ، طبع الجزء الأول منه وهو عبارة عن 577 صفحة في المكتبة الشعبية ببيروت عام 1985، بالإضافة إلى احتوائه على اربعة رسائل في نهايته من تأليف عبد القادر الحسيني الأدهمي وهي على الترتيب

عنوان الكتاب هو :"شمس المعارف الكبرى ، و لطائف العوارف", (يختصر أحيانا: شمس المعارف و لطائف العوارف) في أربعة أجزاء و مجلد واحد من ما يقرب من ستمائة صفحة تأليف : أحمد بن علي البوني ، المتوفى سنة 622 هجرية . و نص المكتوب تحت عنوانه هو : قال في كشف الظنون :" و المقصود من هذا الكتاب أن يعلم بذلك شرف أسماء الله تعالى و ما أودع في بحرها من أنواع الجواهر الحكميات ، و كيف التصريف بالأسماء و الدعوات و ما تابعها من حروف السور و الآيات ليتصل بها إلى الحضرة الربانية من غير تعب، و يتصل بها إلى رغائب الدنيا بلا نصب.
أما عن محتوى هذا الكتاب فهو مزيج عجيب من المعلومات المفهومة و الغير المفهومة وربما كانت نوعا من التضليل أو كعذر عند عدم عملها بالشكل المطلوب. فهو يتحدث عن الحروف و الأسماء و أسرارها و حكمها، الأوقات سعيدها و نحسها، و الكواكب و الأبراج، النجوم ، الأقاليم ، الدعوات و اسرار الفاتحة و الاسم الأعظم، خواص أوائل السور . ويتكلم عن الإختراعات الرحموتية، العزيمة الجلجلوتية، القمقمة، الدعوات المستجابة، الأذكار ، قضاء الحوائج الرياضات الروحانية ، البدايات و النهايات ، و أسماء الله الحسنى و أوقاتها النافعات . وفيه اللطائف التسعة في تأليف القلوب و المحبة و ذكر خاتم النبي سليمان، خواص آية الكرسي، فوائد لمقابلة الملوك و الحكام و الوزراء و القضاة و أرباب المناصب، خواص الأوقاف و الطلسمات النافعات ، فائدة للزيادة في الرزق [كذا] ، و إذا أردت أن تحفظ كل ما تسمع و لا تنساه، عقد اللسان ، حفظ المال من السارق ، و إذا أردت أن ترمي بالقوس و لا تخطئ في رميك ، و إذا أردت أن يحبك كل إنسان ، و الأوراد ، و الكثير الكثير من هذا القبيل . و بالكتاب جداول غريبة و أسماء عجيبة و معلومات مبهمة، و هو في طبعة تجارية رديئة بدون فواصل ولا نقط بين الجمل ، و فيه وصفات خطيرة، وشعوذة كثيرة . و الشيخ البوني هذا معروف عند المهتمين بالروحانيات و السحر و الرمل و ما شابه، و له مؤلفات في هذا الميدان كان البعض يبحثون عنها في المكتبات و يقضون الأوقات الغالية في محاولة فك رموزها لتسخير الجن، و بعضهم كان يتعاطى لهذا لشفاء المصابين بالمس ـ حسب زعمهم.

الفصل الأول : في الحروف المعجمة و ما يترتب فيها من الاسرار و الإضمارات .
