معنای لغوی کساء

کساء در زبان عربی به نوعی عبا می‌گویند که بر دوش انداخته می‌شود. همچنین به عنوان زیرانداز و رو انداز نیز به کار رفته است.اما لفظ کِساء در این حدیث، به معنای پوششی مانند عبا است که روی لباس‌ها می‌پوشند.

امام صادق(ع) در حدیثی صریحاً می فرماید:

اصحاب کساء که کریم ترین مخلوقات و شریف ترین آنها نزد خدا بوده پنج تن می باشند. و در ادامه این پنج تن را نام می برد.
خامس آل عبا صفتی مشهور برای امام حسین (ع) است و در برخی زیارت نامه ها ایشان را خامس اصحاب کساء می نامند.
پیامبر نزول آیه تطهیر را در پنج تن منحصر کرده است.


علامه حلی در مورد آیه تطهیر می گوید:
نزول آیه تطهیر در مورد پنج نفر اصحاب کساء از متواترات است و در مورد این مطلب کسی شک نمی کند؛ مگر اینکه شخص، معاند و مغرض باشد.
اصطلاح «اصحاب کساء»بین مفسران و راویان معروف بود؛ یعنی به جای اینکه نام تک تک پنج تن را بیاورند، می گفتند این آیه در حق اصحاب کساء نازل شده است؛ برای نمونه در مورد شأن نزول آیه وَیطْعِمُونَ الطَّعَامَ عَلَیٰ حُبِّهِ مِسْکینًا وَیتِیمًا وَأَسِیرًاعلامه مجلسی می گوید:

مفسرین و محدثین اجماع دارند که این سوره درباره اصحاب کساء نازل شده است.


شرح ماجرای حدیث کساء
هیچ یک از احادیثی که پیرامون رویداد کساء رسیده است آن را به ‌طور کامل بیان نکرده و هر یک به بخشی از آن اشاره دارند. آنچه که در ذیل می‌آید بهره‌گیری از تمام روایات برای تصویر کامل رویداد کسا است.

پیامبر اسلام(ص) در خانه همسرش، امّ سلمه قرار است پیام مهمی از سوی خداوند درباره چند تن از نزدیکان خود دریافت کند. لذا به همسرش تأکید می‌کند که به هیچ کس اجازه ورود ندهد. از سوی دیگر، در همین روز، فاطمه(س)، دختر پیامبر(ص) تصمیم می‌گیرد برای پدر غذای مناسبی به نام عصیده تهیه کند. او این غذا را در دیگ کوچک سنگی فراهم می‌کند و آن را روی طبقی گذاشته، برای پدر می‌آورد.امّ سلمه می‌گوید: «من نتوانستم مانع ورود فاطمه شوم».پیامبر(ص) به دخترش فرمود: «برو و همسر و دو فرزندت را هم بیاور».فاطمه(س) بی‌درنگ به منزل بازگشت و همراه همسر و دو فرزندش ـ که در آن وقت، خردسال بودند ـ به خانه پدر وارد شد. ام سلمه با اشارهٔ رسول خدا(ص) برخاست و در کناری مشغول نماز شد.

رسول خدا(ص) با علی(ع) و فاطمه(س) و دو فرزندش حسن(ع) و حسین(ع)، کنار سفرهٔ فاطمه نشستند. پیامبر(ص) کسای خیبری(عبایی از بافته‌های مردم منطقه خیبر) را بر سر داماد و دختر و فرزندانش می‌کشد و با دست راست به آسمان اشاره می‌کند و می‌فرماید:«خدایا! اینان اهل بیت(ع) من هستند. پس هر گونه پلیدی را از آنها دور کن و کاملاً پاکشان گردان!»

آن گاه جبرئیل امین، نازل شد و آیه تطهیر را خواند: إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ اللَّـهُ لِيُذْهِبَ عَنكُمُ الرِّجْسَ أَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ وَيُطَهِّرَكُمْ تَطْهِيرًا (ترجمه: ...خدا فقط مى‌خواهد آلودگى را از شما خاندان بزدايد و شما را پاك و پاكيزه گرداند.)

امّ سلمه جلو آمد و گوشه کسا را بلند کرد ولی پیامبر(ص) کسا را از دست او کشید و مانع ورود او به جمع اهل بیت(ع) خود شد.امّ سلمه عرض کرد: آیا من در شمار اهل بیت نیستم؟ پیامبر(ص) خدا فرمود: تو در راه خیر و نیکی هستی، تو از همسران پیامبر خدایی.Hadith Kisa playback of audio + Me
