“Lord, another day of my life is opening. It's as if the curtains were opened again to the adventure of so many hours of my existence. Everything goes by so fast. I know that you know me and scrutinize me, and you will be luminosity in the trajectory of this day. Thank you for the rest of the night and for the strength to start over as if nothing had been done. Nothing I will do will be done without your eyes. I hope to be able to make some “escapes” today and retire to my inner cell and say a few words of surrender and love to you. May your eyes accompany my work, illuminate my concerns, cause in me gestures of confident delivery in your hands. Look at the little ones of the land who fight, who run and don't even have to eat. Look at these sick people who are writhing in pain on their beds of suffering. Look at those who have lost hope for tomorrow. May all those who pass by me feel a sliver of hope reach their hearts. That tonight I can say, despite my frailty and my sin, that I was a servant of the Kingdom that your Son Jesus came to implant in this land of division and hatred, of lies and selfishness. At this hour I consecrate to you my lips, my eyes, my ears and my whole life. Praised, exalted, glorified be You, magnified be Your holy name, God of all times and Adorable Lord of my life.”
