Değerli kullanıcılar, hobi olarak yaptığım yazılım işinin yanında aldığım Arapça eğitimini pekiştirmek amacıyla Yabancı Dil Sınavı(YDS)'na hazırlanırken kendim kullanmak üzere hazırladığım ve zamanla yeni özelliklerle zenginleştirdiğim Arapça-Türkçe Sözlük'ten büyük fayda gördüm ve sınavdan hedeflediğim notun üzerinde bir not aldım. Nihayetinde uygulamayı yayınlamaya karar verdim ve yayınlandıktan sonra da bir çok yeni özellik ekleyerek zenginleştirdim. Aslında mobil programlamadaki ilk deneyimim olduğu için çok fazla eksikliği ve sorunları olduğunun farkındayım. Çok daha gelişmiş bir sözlük üzerinde çalışmaya başladım ancak maalesef mesleğimden dolayı yazılım işine artık fazla zaman ayıramıyorum. Bu nedenle sözlüğün ücretsiz ve reklamlı versiyonunu yayından kaldırarak ücretli ve reklamsız versiyonunu yine REKLAMSIZ ve ÜCRETSİZ olarak yayınladım. Geçmişte her kullanıcının ilettiği sorun ve eksikliklere karşılık verip gidermeye çalışıyordum ancak belirttiğim gibi artık zaman ayıramıyorum. Bu yüzden uygulamada yeni geliştirmeler olmayacağını üzülerek bildirmek durumundayım. Uygulamayı doğru bir şekilde kullanarak çok büyük fayda sağlanabileceğini kendim sınavda edindiğim başarıdan ve keza yakın arkadaşlarımın da edindiği başarılardan biliyorum. Bu sözlüğü kullanarak YDS'ye hazırlanarak benim gibi diplomatik göreve atanan kişiler uygulamanın faydasını ortaya koymaktadır. Bu işe kesinlikle gönül veren kullanıcılar için bir kaç önerim var:
1. En önemlisi çalışırken eziyet çekmemelisiniz. Telefonunuzun ekranına sıkışmayın. Uygulamayı arka plana atmak zorunda kalmayın. Kendinize aynı anda iki uygulama açabilen bir tablet alın ve solda internet sayfasını sağda sözlüğü açın. Kopyaladığınız kelimeyi sözlük otomatik olarak aramaya başlayacak ve sonuçları gösterecektir. Ayarlarda otomatik yapıştırmayı açmayı unutmayın.
2. Her gün bir alanda en az 5 metin okumaya özen gösterin. Örneğin bir gün sağlık alanında, sonraki gün teknoloji, sanat, haber vs... Aynı konuda arka arkaya okunan yazılar o alandaki kelime haznenizi güçlendirecek ve zamanla sözlüğe daha az ihtiyaç duyduğunuzu hissedeceksiniz.
3. Kelime defteri tutmayı, yazmayı falan bir kenara bırakın. Sadece okuyabildiğiniz kadar okuyun. Bir kelimeyi anlamıyla beraber yazdığınız sürede bir cümle okuyabilirsiniz. Beyninize bilgiyi ne kadar seri iletirseniz algılaması o kadar iyi olacaktır.
4. Bir kelimenin anlamına bakmadan önce mutlaka cümlenin devamında bir kaç sözlük daha ileriye gidin. Belki de o kelimenin anlamını cümlenin gidişatından anlayabilirsiniz. Dediğim gibi hızınızı ne kadar az keserseniz o kadar yararlı olacaktır. Gerçekten anlayamıyorsanız o zaman sözlüğe bakın.
5. Bir metinde sözlüğe çok fazla ihtiyaç duyuyorsanız o metin dizin seviyenize göre değil demektir. Hemen başka bir metine geçin. Yine aynı şeyi söylüyorum. Ne kadar az durursanız o kadar faydalı ve keyifli olacaktır.
6. Sözlüğün Google/Yandex translate özelliğini mutlaka açık tutun. Bu sayede özel isimler, kalıp ifadeler, kelime grupları ve cümleleri de çevirebilirsiniz. Üstelik bu hizmetler bazen veritabanında olmayan ama sizin için doğru olan anlamı verebilmektedir.
7. Temel düzeyde gramer bilginiz yoksa, tamamen ezbere bilmeseniz de üstüne düşündüğünüzde bir fiilin hangi şahıs veya nesne için çekime girdiğini anlayamıyorsanız bu konularda sürekli sarf kitabınızdan çalışma yapın. Ayrıca belli başlı nahiv konularına da hakim olmanız gerekiyor.
8. Son olarak buraya kadar okuduysanız zaten başarılı olacaksınızdır. Çünkü toplum olarak gerçekten okumayı sevmiyoruz.
