برنامج دليل النجوم يخبرك عن طوالع النجوم في الجزيرة العربية، وعن طريق الاشعارات يخبرك عن دخول النجوم، ويقدم تفاصيل دقيقة عن أحوال الطقس والأمطار والربيع وهجرة الطيور والحيوانات البرية وكذلك الزراعة والحصاد لكل نجم.

في الزمان القديم للجزيرة العربية لم يكن الناس يعرفون التقويم الميلادي، فاخترعوا تقويماً يعتمد على النجوم لمعرفة الفصول الأربعة في السنة (الشتاء، الربيع، الصيف والخريف) والأيام التي يعتاد فيها الناس على نزول المطر ، وكذلك لمعرفة التفاصيل الدقيقة لكل نجم، كأيام الزراعة والحصاد وغيرها ، وكذلك أوقات هجرة الطيور والحياة البرية والفطرية، فخرجوا بهذا التقويم الدقيق.
