ប្រជាពលរដ្ឋខ្មែរទាំងពីរភេទដែលមានចំណងអាពាហ៍ពិពាហ៍ ត្រូវគោរពគោលការណ៍ឯកពន្ធភាពដោយស្ម័គ្រចិត្ត ប្ដីមួយប្រពន្ធមួយ ដោយមានចុះបញ្ជីអាពាហ៍ពិពាហ៍ចំពោះមុខមន្ត្រីអត្រានុកូលដ្ឋាន ស្របតាមលក្ខខណ្ឌដែលមានចែងក្នុងច្បាប់ស្ដីពីអាពាហ៍ពិពាហ៍ និងគ្រួសារ។The law aims to protect the dignity and enhance family harmony, happiness and respect for each other back and forth between her husband and wife in accordance with Article 45 of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Cambodia to build on the existing legal norms.
Citizens of both sexes, marriage must respect the principles of monogamy, voluntary monogamy with registration marriage before the Registrar in accordance with the conditions set forth in the Law on marriage and Family.
