Nosso Bispo Emérito , Dom Aldo Gerna , como zeloso pastor, acolheu, com prudente alegria, a iniciativa de um grupo de cristãos leigos e leigas que arrendou a Rádio – 94,7-FM, com o propósito de realizar esse sonho. Desde então, a emissora recebeu o nome de KAIRÓS-FM. Este título significa TEMPO DE DEUS, TEMPO DA GRAÇA.
