কোর্সের ধরন
এই সংস্থায় দুই ধরনের কোর্স করার সুযোগ রয়েছে। একটি ডিপ্লোমা ও অন্যটি ন্যাশনাল সার্টিফিকেট কোর্স। চাহিদার ভিত্তিতে কোর্সগুলো সাজানো হয়। চার মাসের ন্যাশনাল সার্টিফিকেট কোর্সে তিন মাস তাত্ত্বিক ও এক মাস হাতে-কলমে শেখানো হয়। সম্প্রতি ন্যাশনাল সার্টিফিকেট কোর্সে ভর্তির বিজ্ঞপ্তি দেওয়া হয়েছে। আগ্রহী ব্যক্তিদের ২৪ মের মধ্যে আবেদনপত্র জমা দিতে হবে।

ডিপ্লোমা কোর্স
দুটি বিষয়ে ডিপ্লোমা কোর্স করানো হয়। এর মধ্যে দুই বছর মেয়াদে করানো হয় ডিপ্লোমা ইন হোটেল ম্যানেজমেন্ট। আর এক বছর মেয়াদি কোর্সটি হলো—ডিপ্লোমা ইন ট্যুরিজম ম্যানেজমেন্ট। এ ছাড়া রয়েছে এক বছর মেয়াদি প্রফেশনাল শেফ কোর্স।

সার্টিফিকেট কোর্স
ছয়টি ক্যাটাগরিতে ন্যাশনাল সার্টিফিকেট কোর্স করা যাবে। কোর্সগুলো হলো ন্যাশনাল সার্টিফিকেট কোর্স ইন ফুড অ্যান্ড বেভারেজ সার্ভিস, ফুড অ্যান্ড বেভারেজ প্রোডাকশন, ফ্রন্ট অফিস সেক্রেটারিয়াল অপারেশনস, হাউসকিপিং অ্যান্ড লন্ড্রি, ট্রাভেল এজেন্সি অ্যান্ড ট্যুর অপারেশনস ও বেকারি অ্যান্ড পেস্ট্রি প্রোডাকশন।

ভর্তির প্রক্রিয়া
ন্যাশনাল সার্টিফিকেট কোর্স ও ডিপ্লোমা কোর্সে ভর্তির জন্য আলাদা ফরম সংগ্রহ করতে হবে। অফিস চলাকালে ২০০ টাকা জমা দিয়ে ভর্তির ফরম সংগ্রহ করা যাবে। প্রার্থীদের বয়স হতে হবে সর্বোচ্চ ৩৫ বছর বয়স।

ভর্তির যোগ্যতা
একেক কোর্সে একেক ধরনের যোগ্যতা লাগে। ন্যাশনাল সার্টিফিকেট কোর্সের মধ্যে ট্রাভেল এজেন্সি অ্যান্ড ট্যুর অপারেশনস ও ফ্রন্ট অফিস সেক্রেটারিয়াল অপারেশনস কোর্সের জন্য প্রার্থীদের ন্যূনতম এইচএসসি বা সমমান এবং অন্যান্য কোর্সের জন্য ন্যূনতম এসএসসি বা সমমান পাস হতে হবে। আর ডিপ্লোমা ইন হোটেল ম্যানেজমেন্ট ও ডিপ্লোমা ইন ট্যুরিজম ম্যানেজমেন্টের ক্ষেত্রে এইচএসসি বা সমমান হতে হবে। উভয় কোর্সে ভর্তির জন্য লিখিত ও মৌখিক পরীক্ষা দিতে হয়।

কোর্স ফি
ন্যাশনাল সার্টিফিকেট কোর্স ইন ফুড অ্যান্ড বেভারেজ সার্ভিস, ট্রাভেল এজেন্সি অ্যান্ড ট্যুর অপারেশনস ও বেকারি অ্যান্ড পেস্ট্রি প্রোডাকশন, এই তিনটির প্রতিটি কোর্সের জন্য ২০ হাজার টাকা লাগে। ফুড অ্যান্ড বেভারেজ প্রোডাকশন কোর্সে ২৫ হাজার টাকা, ফ্রন্ট অফিস সেক্রেটারিয়াল অপারেশনস ও হাউসকিপিং অ্যান্ড লন্ড্রি কোর্সে ১৬ হাজার টাকা, ডিপ্লোমা ইন ট্যুরিজম ম্যানেজমেন্ট কোর্সে ৮০ হাজার টাকা এবং ডিপ্লোমা ইন হোটেল ম্যানেজমেন্ট কোর্সে এক লাখ ৬০ হাজার টাকা খরচ হবে। এ ছাড়া প্রফেশনাল শেফ কোর্সের জন্য লাগবে ৯০ হাজার টাকা।

পর্যটন করপোরেশনে কোর্স করে অনেকেই কর্মজীবনে বেশ ভালো করছেন। বিপিসি থেকে প্রশিক্ষণ নিয়ে দেশে-বিদেশে দুই জায়গাতেই কাজের সুযোগ পাওয়া যায়। বিশেষ করে দেশে পর্যটন শিল্পের বিকাশের সুবাদে পাঁচ তারকা হোটেলসহ মোটেল-রিসোর্ট ও নানা ধরনের ট্রাভেল এজেন্সি গড়ে উঠছে। ফলে এই খাতে কাজ করার সুযোগ বাড়ছে।Many countries around drugs; Sometimes the mountain, river or sea.
