「台灣聯合大學系統」奉教育部核定正式成立於97年1月24日，由國立中央大學、國立交通大學、國立清華大學及國立陽明大學四所大學共同組成，主要提供四校整合資源，發揮互補性，並提升四校教育品質與追求學術卓越，達到世界一流大學之目的。
