از حضرت صادق عليه السّلام روايت شده: هركه چهل صبحگاه اين عهد را بخواند، از ياوران قائم ما باشد، و اگر پيش از ظهور آن حضرت از دنيا برود، خدا او را از قبر بيرون آورد، كه در خدمت آن حضرت باشد، و حق تعالی بر هر كلمه هزار حسنه به او كرامت فرمايد، و هزار گناه از او محو سازد.
