في الليل ساعات لإجابة الدعاء ولذة المناجاة،
في الليل يُتَقَرَّب إلى الله بأحسن الطاعات،
في الليل يَغفر الله للمُسيئين ويُعطي السائلين،
ففي الليل أقربُ ما يكون الله من عباده المؤمنين،
فقيام الليل هو مدرسة المُخلصين وهو من سمات الصالحين،
حيث مدحهم الله عز وجل وأثنى عليهم وبين جزاءهم فقال:
{إِنَّمَا يُؤْمِنُ بِآيَاتِنَا الَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِّرُوا بِهَا خَرُّوا سُجَّدًا وَسَبَّحُوا بِحَمْدِ رَبِّهِمْ وَهُمْ لَا يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ * تَتَجَافَى جُنُوبُهُمْ عَنِ الْمَضَاجِعِ يَدْعُونَ رَبَّهُمْ خَوْفًا وَطَمَعًا وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ يُنْفِقُونَ * فَلَا تَعْلَمُ نَفْسٌ مَا أُخْفِيَ لَهُمْ مِنْ قُرَّةِ أَعْيُنٍ جَزَاءً بِمَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ} [السجدة: 15-17].
