“Imaginario, Fundación Televisa” es una aplicación para visualizar contenido adicional que forma parte del libro “Imaginario. Colección y archivo de Fundación Televisa”, editado en 2016. Ésta es la segunda de una serie que inició con “Imaginaria, Fundación Televisa”, disponible también en esta plataforma.
La característica principal de “Imaginario” es el uso de Realidad Aumentada. Al escanear las imágenes del impreso, la aplicación complementa la experiencia de éste, pues detecta material adicional en video. Se incluyen, entre otros, videogramas de “Esperando la aparición de Jesús en una telenovela”, de Christian Jankowski; de la película “La verdadera vocación de Magdalena”; del reportaje ‘Un oasis en los cielos’, parte de la serie “Horizontes. Película mensual de información de las Américas”; del documental “Los niños españoles en México II”; y de la cobertura de Noticieros Televisa a la toma de Bagdad, del 9 de abril de 2003. Asimismo, se integra información relacionada con Cantinflas, con la figura del pachuco encarnada por Tin-Tán y con el trabajo artístico de fotógrafos como Robert Boyd, Bruce Nauman, Gary Hill y Jenny Holzer.
Por su parte, el libro impreso reúne una vasta selección de obras fotográficas y audiovisuales, las cuales se conjugan para acercar al lector al complejo mundo de las imágenes. Los cuatro ejes temáticos sobre los que se articula el proyecto son “Ícono”, “Espectáculo”, “Memoria” y “Mirada”.
