সুকুমার রায় (১৮৮৭ - ১৯২৩) (ইংরেজি ভাষা: sukumar roy) একজন বাঙালি শিশুসাহিত্যিক ও ভারতীয় সাহিত্যে "ননসেন্স্ রাইমের" প্রবর্তক। তিনি একাধারে লেখক, ছড়াকার, শিশুসাহিত্যিক, রম্যরচনাকার ও নাট্যকার। তিনি ছিলেন জনপ্রিয় শিশুসাহিত্যিক উপেন্দ্রকিশোর রায়চৌধুরীর সন্তান এবং তাঁর পুত্র খ্যাতিমান চলচ্চিত্রকার সত্যজিৎ রায়। তাঁর লেখা কবিতার বই আবোল তাবোল, গল্প হযবরল, গল্প সংকলন পাগলা দাশু, এবং নাটক চলচ্চিত্তচঞ্চরী বিশ্বসাহিত্যে সর্বযুগের সেরা "ননসেন্স" ধরণের ব্যঙ্গাত্মক শিশুসাহিত্যের অন্যতম বলে মনে করা হয়, কেবল অ্যালিস ইন ওয়ান্ডারল্যান্ড (alice in wonderland) ইত্যাদি কয়েকটি মুষ্টিমেয় ক্লাসিক-ই যাদের সমকক্ষ। মৃত্যুর আশি বছর পরও তিনি বাংলা সাহিত্যের জনপ্রিয়তম শিশুসাহিত্যিকদের একজন।
