محي الدين محمد بن علي بن محمد بن عربي الحاتمي الطائي الأندلسي ، أحد أشهر المتصوفين لقبه أتباعه وغيرهم من الصوفية "بالشيخ الأكبر" ولذا ينسب إليه الطريقة الأكبرية الصوفية. ولد في مرسية في الأندلس في شهر رمضان الكريم عام 558 هـ الموافق 1164م قبل عامين من وفاة الشيخ عبد القادر الجيلاني وتوفي في دمشق عام 638هـ الموافق 1240م. ودفن في سفح جبل قاسيون.Mohiuddin Mohammed bin Ali bin Mohammed al-Tai Andalusian Arabic Hatami, a month mystics title of his followers and other mystical "Sheikh biggest" and therefore attributed to him the way Alokiprih Sufism. Born in Murcia in Andalusia in the holy month of Ramadan in 558 AH, corresponding to 1164 m two years of the death of Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani before and died in Damascus in 638 H, corresponding to 1240 m. He was buried at the foot of Mount Qassioun.
