『香港義行日』的起源


香港是一個國際大都會，社會長期繁榮安定，全賴市民同心協力建設。除了重視經濟發展，大家亦希望擁有一個關愛共融的社會。一直以來，眾多市民積極參與義務工作，充分發揮關愛弱勢社群的精神，義行成為香港的核心價值。



有見及此，「傑出生命計劃」呼籲社會各界合力為香港建立屬於香港人的義行日，首屆「香港義行日」於二零一四年一月十八日在香港立法會主席曾鈺成議員GBS,JP、平等機會委員會主席周一嶽醫生GBS,JP、勞工及福利局康復諮詢委員會許宗盛主席BBS,JP及逾千名市民的見證下正式成立。大會選擇一月十八日的意義深遠，期望一年之始，喚醒全港市民關愛十八社區，讓更多市民關注社會上的需要和義務工作的重要性，呼籲全民響應將義務的精神融入生活。大會以『區區義事、點少得您』為口號，從而達致『香港是我家、全民生活「義」』的共同目標，讓香港成為義行之都。Origin of the "Hong Kong Yoshiyuki Day"
