About Vartha (വാർത്ത) Malayalam News Android App

"Vartha" is a free app to get updates about latest malayalam news. Vartha app allows you get updated with news from different sources. User can choose the news websites from settings. App is designed with material design by Google.

Version 2.0 of the app has more functionality which includes more control over the notification, syncing, interface etc. Updates are completely battery optimized. There is no memory eating background service for updation.

The news once loaded are stored offline. User can configure how much time it should be stored in the app from settings. The news can be shared with more content and links.

User can filter the news that has not yet read and news can also favorited so that it will appear in a different list.

Suggestions to improve the app are always welcome. I will try to include them in the upcoming updates.

Ads: This is to compensate the expenses of the servers running in the back-end for the proper working of the app.

Content: The news appearing in this app are collected from the RSS feeds of third party websites which is publicly available. Vartha is just an RSS aggregator. All the rights to the contents belong to the respective sources specified in each news entry.
