تمهيد:
يتفق العلماء على أن أهم ما ينبغي الرجوع إليه لتفسير القرآن الكريم هو القرآن الكريم نفسه(1)، وذلك أن القرآن الكريم يفصل ما أجمل، ويقيد ما أطلق، ويبين ما أبهم، ويؤكد الحدث والحكم(2).
و يتفق العلماء أيضا على أن المرحلة الثانية للتفسير بعد النظر في القرآن نفسه، هي الرجوع إلى السنة النبوية، لأنها شارحة للقرآن، وموضحة له، قال الإمام الشافعي رحمه الله "" كل ما حكم به النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فهو مما فهمه من القرآن"".
وقال ابن برجان(3) في "" الإرشاد في تفسير القرآن "": ""ما قال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم من شيء فهو في القرآن، وفيه أصله، قرب أو بعد، فهمه من فهمه، وعمه عنه من عمه، قال الله تعالى: {ما فرطنا في الكتاب من شيء} [الأنعام: 38].
.... وهكذا حكم جميع قضائه، وحكمه على طرقه التي أتت عليه، وإنما يدرك الطالب من ذلك بقدر اجتهاده وبذل وسعه، ويبلغ منه الراغب فيه
