التحذير من الاغترار بالدنيا
قال الله تعالى: (يا أيها الذين آمنوا لا تلهكم أمولكم ولا أولادكم عن ذكر الله ومن يفعل ذلك فأولئك هم الخاسرون. وأنفقوا من ما رزقنكم من قبل أن يأتي أحدكم الموت فيقول رب لو لا أخرتني إلى أجل قريب فأصدق وأكن من الصالحين. ولن يؤخر الله نفسا إذا جاء أجلها والله خبير بما تعملون.).
وفي كتاب الترمذي قال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: "" أكثروا ذكر هازم اللذات الموت "" .
وفي الصحيحين عن ابن عمر رضي الله عنهما أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: "" ما حق امرئ مسلم له شيء يوصي فيه يبيت ليلتين إلا ووصيته مكتوبة عنده "" وفي رواية مسلم: "" يبيت ثلاث ليال "" قال ابن عمر رضي الله عنهما ما مرت علي ليلة منذ سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال ذلك إلا وعندي وصيتي.
وفي صحيح البخاري عن ابن عمر رضي الله عنهما قال: "" أخذ رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم بمنكبي وقال: كن في الدنيا كأنك غريب أو عابر سبيل وعد نفسك من أصحاب القبور "" أي لا تركنن إليها ولا تتخذها وطنا ولا تحدث نفسك بطول البقاء فيها ولا بالاعتناء بها ولا تتعلق منها بما لا يتعلق به الغريب في غير وطنه. لا تشتغل فيها به الغريب الذي يريد الذهاب إلى أهله، وكان ابن عمر رضي الله عنهما يقول: إذا أمسيت فلا تنتظر الصباح وإذا أصبحت فلا تنتظر المساء، وخذ من صحتك لمرضك ومن حياتك لموتك.
وقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: "" اثنتان يكرهما ابن آدم يكره الموت والموت خير للمؤمن من الفتنة ويكره قلة المال وقلة المال أقل الحساب "" .
وقال حاتم الأصم: لكل شيء زينة وزينة العبادة الخوف وعلامة الخوف قصر الأمل.
وقيل للحسن ألا تغسل قميصك فقال الأمر أعجل من ذلك.

واعلم أن بني آدم طائفتان طائفة نظروا إلى شاهد خيال الدنيا وتمسكوا بتأميل العمر الطويل ولم يتفكروا في النفس الأخير، وطائفة عقلاء جعلوا النفس الأخير نصب أعينهم لينظروا ماذا يكون مصيرهم، وكيف يخرجون من الدنيا ويفارقونها وإيمانهم سالم وما الذي ينزل معهم من الدنيا في قبورهم وما الذي يتركونه لأعدائهم ويبقى عليهم وباله ونكاله وهذه الفكرة واجبة على كافة الخلق وهي على الملوك وأهل الدنيا أوجب لأنهم كثيرا ما أزعجوا قلوب الخلق وأدخلوا في قلوبهم الرعب فإن الحق تعالى ذكره ملاكا يعرف بملك الموت لا مهرب لأحد من مطالبته ونشبته وكل موكلي الملوك يأخذون جعلهم ذهبا وطعاما، وهذا الوكيل لا يأخذ سوى الروح جعلا وسائر موكلي السلاطين تنفع عندهم الشفاعة وهذا الموكل لا تنفع عنده شفاعة شافع وجميع الموكلين يمهلون من يوكلون به اليوم والساعة وهذا الموكل لا يهمل نفسا واحدا.
