“কসম সময়ের” নিশ্চয়ই মানুষ ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত; কিন্তু তারা নয়, যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে ও সৎকর্ম করে, পরস্পরকে সত্যের উপদেশ দেয় এবং ধৈর্যের উপদেশ দেয়।
আবার যারা ঈমান গ্রহণের পাশাপাশি নেক আমল বা ভালো কাজ করেছে, তাদের জন্য আল্লাহ তাআলা অনেক সুসংবাদ প্রদান করেছেন। আল্লাহ তাআলা বলেন, ‘নিশ্চয়ই যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে ও সৎকর্ম সম্পাদন করে, তাদের অভ্যর্থনার জন্যে আছে জান্নাতুল ফেরদাউস। সেখানে তারা চিরকাল থাকবে, সেখান থেকে স্থান পরিবর্তন করতে চাইবে না।’ (সুরা কাহাফ : আয়াত ১০৭-১০৮)
এ ঈমানের ওপরেই মানুষের ইহ ও পরকালীন জীবনের ব্যর্থতা এবং সফলতা নির্ভর করে। আর ঈমানবিহীন আমলের কোনো মূল্য নেই; তা কুরআনে প্রমাণিত। তাই মানুষের ভালো কাজ এবং ভালো গুণ তখনই আল্লাহর দরবারে গণ্য হবে যখন তার অন্তরে ঈমান থাকবে। আর এই নিয়েই মূলত আমাদের ঈমান বৃদ্ধির আমল ও ঈমান ধ্বংসের কারণসমূহ সম্পর্কে বিস্তারিত জানাতেই আমাদের এই এপ্সটি। আমাদের এই এপ্সটিতে আরও থাকছে।
