Por la señal de la Santa Cruz, de nuestro enemigos, líbranos Señor, Dios nuestro. En el nombre del Padre, del Hijo y del Espíritu Santo. Amén.

Acto de contrición

¡Señor mío, Jesucristo!
Dios y Hombre verdadero,
Creador, Padre y Redentor mío; por ser Vos quien sois, Bondad infinita,
y porque os amo sobre todas las cosas,
me pesa de todo corazón de haberos ofendido;
también me pesa porque podéis castigarme con las penas del infierno.
Ayudado de vuestra divina gracia
propongo firmemente nunca más pecar, confesarme y cumplir la penitencia que me fuere impuesta.
Amén.

Oración preparatoria

¡Oh Corazón divinísimo de mi amado Jesús, en quien la Santísima Trinidad depositó tesoros inmensos de celestiales gracias! Concededme un corazón semejante a vos mismo, y la gracia que os pido en esta novena, si es para mayor gloria de Dios, vuestro sagrado culto y bien de mi alma. My Lord, Jesus Christ!
God and true man,
Creator, Father and my Redeemer; for being you who you are, infinite Goodness,
and because I love above all things,
I regret wholeheartedly offended Thee;
also it weighs me because you can punish me with the pains of hell.
Of your divine grace helped
firmly resolve never to sin, confession and penance to amend my life.
Amen.

preparatory prayer

O most divine Heart of my beloved Jesus, in whom the Holy Trinity deposited immense treasures of heavenly graces! Give me such a heart to yourself, and grace that I ask in this novena, if it's for the greater glory of God, your sacred worship and good of my soul. Amen.
