Inaugurada aos 12 de junho de 2004, a Rádio Líder de Itapipoca nasceu com as fortes marcas do brilhantismo empresarial que sempre acompanhou o médico e empresário Dr. Márcio Moreira cuja rica história já se confunde com o próprio desenvolvimento de Itapipoca. Primeira emissora de Rádio FM comercial da Região, a Rádio Líder marca o início de uma nova era para a Radiofonia cearense.

Através da sua variada programação musical, a Rádio Líder conta com um excelente e qualificado quadro de locutores e comunicadores que buscam a valorização da música regional sem desprezar o fenômeno da miscigenação cultural, marca registrada da nossa cearensidade, tudo isso mediado pela experiência e o dinamismo do seu diretor geral o radialista Julivan Benigno.
