Casa de España quiere estrechar lazos culturales y de amistad entre España y Maranhâo. Así como divulgar la cultura española, sus tradiciones y extender el castellano en la región Nordeste de Brasil, preservar el Patrimonio Cultural de los inmigrantes españoles y de sus descendientes que residen en Sâo Luís y la región.

Spain House in Sao Luis - Maranhao intended to safeguard the rights of Spanish citizens living in Maranhao (Brazil) and at all times promote their full integration into Brazilian society.
The President and Founder of the House of Spain in Sao Luis - Maranhao (Brazil), is D. Raul David Ignatius Church.
House of Spain wants to strengthen cultural ties and friendship between Spain and Maranhao. As disclosed Spanish culture, traditions and extend the Castilian in the Northeast region of Brazil, preserving cultural heritage of Spanish immigrants and their descendants living in São Luís and the region.
