本程式會定期抓取台電網站的即時備轉容量資訊轉化成簡單圖示讓民眾了解到目前備轉容量的狀態，也可以知道目前是否有缺電危機。
更新時間會顯示在螢幕上，讓資訊有效度可以更清楚明白。
並提供即時更新功能讓民眾可以馬上取得最新的備轉容量資訊。
本程式目前仰賴台電的網站運作，因此如果臺電的備轉容量資訊網站故障，則資訊無法更新。
本程式無償提供給民眾使用。
