NRFB sử dụng bộ đọc tiếng Việt để đọc to các bài báo trên các báo điện tử tiếng Việt.

NRFB đặc biệt thích hợp với người khiếm thị để cập nhật thông tin, nhưng cũng có thể dùng bởi những người bình thường để nghe báo mà không phải đọc báo trên các màn hình nhỏ xíu!

Với việc tải báo và cơ chế đọc báo thông minh, người dùng có thể dễ dàng tiếp cận tin tức mới nhất trong nước và quốc tế.

Phần mềm cho phép đọc hơn 15 báo điện tử tiếng Việt lớn nhất như Báo mới, Dân trí, VietnamNet, vnExpress, Tuổi trẻ, Hà nội mới, Lao động, Nhân dân, Công an TP HCM, Người lao động...
