جبران خليل جبران شاعر وكاتب ورسام لبناني عربي من أدباء وشعراء المهجر هاجر صبيا رفقة عائلته إلى الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، وحاصل على جنسيتها، ولد في 6 يناير 1883 في بلدة بشري شمال لبنان حين كانت تابعة لمتصرفية جبل لبنان العثمانية. توفي في نيويورك 10 ابريل 1931 بداء السل. ويعرف أيضاً بخليل جبران، وهو من أحفاد يوسف جبران الماروني البشعلاني.
مؤلفاته باللغة العربية :
دمعة وابتسامة.
الأرواح المتمردة.
الأجنحة المتكسرة.
العواصف (رواية).
