About Detect carrier Android App

This application detects phone carriers of (Czech) mobile phone numbers using prefixes and regions where land lines are located. Source data are taken from the ČTÚ website.

Carrier detection works reliably for major carriers and not transferred phone numbers.
Detection does not work for phone numbers transferred to another carrier - for these you can use carriers' websites.

Phone numbers of most virtual carriers cannot be assigned, because these carriers rent services (and phone numbers) from major carriers.

Telephony permission is only requested on dual SIM phones to detect the secondary SIM carrier, in order to offer SMS verification only if appropriate.
