من المتوقع بعد دراسة الطالب لمادة العقيدة الإسلامية(1) أن يحقق الأهداف الآتية:
1. معرفة الطالب أن سبب فساد الحياة البشرية كلها هو الكفر بالخالق والكفر بأمره وتدبيره، وبما أنزل من الحق، وسبب صلاح هذه الحياة كلها هو الإيمان بالله عز وجل، وبما أنزل على رسله، والالتزام بإرادته وأمره في أوضاع الإنسان كلها.
2. غرس العقيدة السليمة المستمدة من الكتاب والسنة في نفوس الطلاب وتوجيههم إليها.
3. التعرف على أركان الإيمان الأربعة الأولى (الإيمان بالله وملائكته وكتبه ورسله).
4. الاقتداء بحياة الرسول  وأصحابه والسلف الصالح رضوان الله عليهم أجمعين عقيدة وعبادة وعملاً.
5. تكوين القدرة العلمية في نفوس الطلاب للدفاع عن العقيدة الإسلامية بالحجة الدامغة، والبرهان، والدليل الناصع، وتقويم السلوك، والآراء بما يوافق مقتضياتها.Expected after the study material for students of the Islamic faith (1) to achieve the following objectives:
1. The student knows that the cause of the corruption of human life all is disbelief Creator and disbelief ordering and manage, and what was revealed from the right, and the reason for Salah this whole life is faith in God Almighty, and what was revealed to his apostles, and the commitment of his own and his command in the human condition as a whole.
2. Instill sound doctrine derived from the Quran and Sunnah in the hearts of students and guiding them.
3. Identify the first four pillars of faith (faith in God and His angels, His Books, His Messengers).
4. Follow the example of the life of the Prophet and his companions  Ancestors and God bless them all doctrine and worship and deed.
5. Formation of scientific capacity in the hearts of students for the defense of the Islamic faith argument compelling, and the evidence, and the evidence as pure, and evaluate the behavior, and opinions as to match its requirements.
