سورة الكهف :
إحدى السور المكيّة التي نزلت على الرسول صلّ الله عليه وسلم في مكة المكرمة، تسبقها من حيث الترتيب في القرآن الكريم سورة الإسراء، وتتبعها سورة سورة مريم، أمّا عدد آياتها فتبلغ مئة وعشر آيات، وعدد كلماتها ألف وخمسمئة وثلاث وثمانون كلمة، وسمّيت بهذا الاسم لأنّها تتناول قصة أصحاب الكهف الثلاثة، والجدير بذكره أنّها تناولت قصص أخرى فيها الكثير من الحكمة والبلاغة، وأبرزها قصة صاحب الجنتين وقصة سيدنا موسى عليه السلام والعبد الصالح، إضافةً إلى قصة ذي القرنين، وتكبر إبليس واستكباره حين رفض السجود لآدم عليه السلام.

سبب التسمية :
سميت ‏سورة ‏الكهف ‏لما ‏فيها ‏من ‏المعجزة ‏الربانية ‏في ‏تلك ‏القصة ‏العجيبة ‏الغريبة ‏قصة ‏أصحاب ‏الكهف.

فضل سورة الكهف :
حثنا الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم على قراءة سورة الكهف يوم الجمعة لما لها من تأثير إيجابي على نفس المسلم، بحيث تتضمن الكثير من القصص التي تعلم الإنسان الصبر، وتعلّمه ضرورة التمسك بتعاليم الله عزّ وجل بالسراء والضراء، فسورة الكهف أسلوبها شيق يشد المسلم لما فيها من مواعظ وقصصٌ شيقة، وتعد سورة الكهف واحدة من أعظم وأطول سور القرآن الكريم، ولكنها على الرغم من ذلك تعطي القارئ راحة كبيرة، كما أنّ ألفاظها سهلة وسلسة.

عن أبي سعيد الخدري عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أنه قال: "مَن قرأَ سورةَ الكَهْفِ ليلةَ الجمعةِ، أضاءَ لَهُ منَ النُّورِ فيما بينَهُ وبينَ البَيتِ العَتيقِ"

وقت قراءة سورة الكهف :
يتمّ قراءة السورة من بداية يوم الجمعة أو حتى ليلتها، والتي تبدأ منذ غروب شمس يوم الخميس، وتنتهي عندما تغرب الشمس في نفس اليوم أي الجمعة، ومن هنا تكون أفضل الأوقات لقراءتها من بداية غروب شمس يوم الخميس، إلى غروبها في يوم الجمعة، وبشكل عام دائماً تكون أوقات الليل وأطراف النهار هي الأفضل لتلاوة القرآن.

Abu Sa'eed from the Prophet, peace be upon him, he said: "Whoever reads the Cave Friday night, light for him from between him and the old house"

Time to read the Cave:
 It is read Sura from the beginning on Friday, or even the night, which starts at sundown on Thursday, and ends when the sun sets on the same day ie Friday, and here are the best times to read from the beginning of the sunset on Thursday to sunset on Friday, and in general always be times of the night and the parties to the day is the best to recite the Koran.
