“I dreamed of home almost every night.” – These are the first words of the interview in which Simon Mandel describes his childhood in Prenzlauer Berg before World War II. The audio app tells the story of several Jewish inhabitants of the area around Kollwitzplatz in the 1920s and 1930s, spread out between 19 audio points. Their stories reflect everyday life on the streets of Prenzlauer Berg, family life, experiences at school, as well as the increasingly anti-Jewish mood of the city.
